“I commissioned Mike to create city grid artwork of Miami, Chicago, Detroit, London, and Zurich. I saw Mike post a commission he made for another client on Instagram that was similar to what I was looking for. It gave me the idea to ask him to create my own pieces!
I discovered Mike was an artist by following his yearlong travel journeys, and quickly noticed how talented he was and enjoyed watching his content. From this, I knew he’d be able to make my vision a reality. Mike explained his process and breakdown of how he charges for commissioned pieces up front.
He sent drafts for my approval before completing the pieces and kept me up to date on his entire process, from drafting to shipping. Mike's professionalism along the way was great! The pieces I commissioned came out exactly how I had envisioned them and looked better than I could have imagined.
I love black and gold, so his style of art is perfect for me! I also love the font he used for the writing in my pieces. Everything about them matches my style and they fit in perfectly with the decor in my apartment.
I would recommend Mike to anyone for commissioning artwork. He is very talented and fun to work with. I am lucky to consider Mike a friend and so happy to support him and promote his work.”

“I have been following Mike's artistic journey since it began, and my girlfriend and I wanted a drawing of one of our cats, Jericho. Mike used to live with Jericho when we were roommates.
Once the finished piece arrived, and we saw it in person, Mike exceeded our expectations by a mile! It came out amazing and more life-like than we could have imagined. We would absolutely recommend commissioning artwork from Mike to anyone.
It will be an amazing addition to our art-covered walls. We can’t wait to hang it up!”

“When a mutual friend mentioned that Mike was accepting commissions, I messaged him to inquire.
I already had the good fortune of working with Mike as co-engineers, so I was used to having a front row seat to the due deliberation he puts into planning a deliverable from start to finish, and I know he takes great pride and care in his work.
I was specifically looking for an office piece, but it had to be something that spoke to me. In a world filled with stimulation and limitless options, I was looking for artwork that could offer me either a moment of escape, or a moment of stability, depending on the mood.
I wasn't sure how an art piece was going to be born out of an idea, but Mike set the expectations for the process upfront and put me at ease. He asked me what I had in mind and helped brainstorm ideas.
I have 0 artistic capabilities, but after discussing my ideas with Mike, I felt like I could contribute to a piece of art. We started with blending board games and engineering, which led to an abstract interpretation of a classic childhood game.
He offered a couple of suggestions and shared his interpretation in the form of sample sketches. At times when I was gung-ho about a particular sketch, Mike would litmus test my feedback, which elevated the piece to an even better version of itself.
He helped me understand how the piece would look in an office, and shared videos of his creative process with me along the way. I was so surprised seeing how one idea could have multiple contrasting interpretations, and at how much I really liked all of them.
Mike's artwork is now set up along my line of sight (roughly at the 3 o'clock position) in my office, and on hectic days when I'm most desk-bound, Mike's art offers an escape. I'm finding that I'm able to come to resolutions quicker after taking a mental jaunt about his art.
When I ventured down this path, I really wasn't sure what to expect, and I imagined that the process would span over a year's time, but it only took about 2 months from first sketch to final delivery. Mike guided me through my first real foray into exploring my tastes in art.
His stewardship of the process, his honesty in sharing his opinions on sketches, sizes, placements, etc., and his indefatigable follow up on my own opinions just made me wish I knew requesting a commission from him was an option sooner!
This experience gave me a peek behind the artist's easel, and I have a newfound appreciation for an artist's mindset and vision. Needless to say, I look forward to commissioning more work from Mike.”

“I was looking for a graduation present for my sister, and saw Mike's artwork on his Instagram page. I thought his artwork was amazing.
I loved the city grids of Miami and Chicago that he made, so I wanted to have one of Madison, Wisconsin made for my sister. I reached out with my idea, and he replied promptly with very specific questions so that the artwork would be just right.
He far exceeded my expectations. I never thought to put a star on the grid of somewhere meaningful to my sister, that was all his idea. I also requested it very last minute and he got it done and mailed within days, without sacrificing any quality.
My sister and I love it. It’s such a lovely reminder to her of a very special home and a very special time in her life. If someone asked me if I would recommend commissioning Mike to create artwork for them, my answer is a gazillion times yes I would. He cares about his work and it really shows in his pieces.”

“I was looking for artwork that brought together 3 states that mean so much to my husband and I, Rhode Island, New Jersey, & Texas. My husband, Seamus, grew up in New Jersey, I grew up in Rhode Island, and we found our first home together in Texas.
Plus, our bedroom had too much wall space! We reached out to Mike to see if he would be willing to create something for us. His artwork tells a story and his vision was exactly the kind we were looking for.
The turnaround time for the draft and completed work was quick! Even more than that, the artwork was clearly done with patience and skill. It was both intricate and bold with the gold and black colors. It was better than we could have imagined.
Mike created 3 large pieces for us; the states of Texas, New Jersey, and Rhode Island. Each piece has a marking of the town we lived in in that state. So did Mike bring our vision to life? A wholehearted yes, he did.
To have filled those holes on our walls with such beautiful artwork that tells the story of us is more than I could have imagined. We are grateful and humbled to have such special pieces to wake up to every morning. They are exactly the vision that we had hoped to see.
Mike is so talented, but also thoughtful. He cares so deeply for his artwork and to create the vision that you have for your space. It is a true privilege to work with someone of his caliber.”
